I think it was a rolling flea market on wheels. The person in front of me has a toy hauler and would load all kinds of stuff in the back of it every night, such as file cabinets, rolling tool boxes, machine parts. Well again I was not lucky the camper beside me had two dogs one a full grown pit bull and a baby pit bull both of which deposited their business all over my site. So you have to pray that the folks in front, behind and next to you are considerate campers. Also, the campground is laid out in (6) strait lines with campers in front and behind you and next to you. ![]() Also, the site is very hilly on the (door side) of your camper, so there is no need to put out your awning as your not able to sit out side and enjoy your camp site. There is a Dead Tree on this site and a branch fell on to the roof of my camper. Be sure to visit the Bryan/College Station Convention Center and Visitors Bureau for more information about events in and around Bryan/College Station. College Station has a lot to offer visitors with numerous wonderful restaurants, shopping, Happy Hours, the George Bush Library, the revitalized downtown Bryan, and of course the many activities available at Texas A&M University. We encourage you to check out RV Haven should you find yourself anywhere nearby. I really think we may have found a new home for our RV each year as we return to College Station. We rated this park a 9 out of 10 with the only drawback (to us) being crushed aggregate pads (rather than concrete) and no patio. ![]() The water pressure was perfect and the placement of the utilities at each site is just right. Another plus is that the park has 90 sites with 30/50 amp electricity, water, sewer, very good Wi-Fi signal as well as cable tv! Of the 90 sites 59 are pull-throughs and 31 are back ins. The sites are spacious and there are nice picnic tables at each site. The clubhouse/office has a laundry and restrooms with showers and is brand new and really beautiful. There is a nice dog run in the front right hand side of the park and another fire pit in the front of the park. Oak trees are scattered throughout the park and the park is surrounded by pasture land giving it a real nature feel. After setting up camp and relaxing we heard birds chirping and NO ROAD NOISE at all. We chose a site in the far right side of the park next to a pergola and fire pit. He said he wanted some feedback from travelers like us so he said he would stop by the RV to hear about how we liked it and if we had any suggestions. He told us that they were still a few weeks away from opening but invited us to stay a few days to experience the park first hand. At the meeting we told Carlos about RVillage, Passport America, RV Park Reviews, etc. The manager, Carlos Boillat, a very nice man contacted John and set up a meeting with us at the park office. When we only had a couple of days left John emailed the manager to inquire about the park offering to help with some internet presence for them as we really had a hard time locating information about them. ![]() We hoped during our stay the park would open but as the days and weeks passed we didn’t see a sign that it had opened. We were so happy to see a new RV park less than a mile away from our current park. There are several parks in Bryan and College Station but none with the location we prefer. The location is still perfect and the large concrete pad with a patio made us pretty happy along with the park’s invitation to wash our vehicles as often as we wanted. Additionally the road noise had increased and our nature walk we so enjoyed had been removed for yet another apartment complex. Our beloved park had become overrun with apartment buildings in every direction so much so that our view of Kyle Field had become completely obliterated. One of our missions while visiting our home town of College Station was to check out new RV parks.
